PieceKeeper Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 8, 2026
PieceKeeper collects only the information needed to create, send, receive, and play private family puzzles.
Information We Process
- Photos, puzzle names, optional notes, piece counts, progress, and completion reactions you choose to create or send.
- A stable anonymous app identifier stored on your device so the first free send can be enforced without requiring an account.
- Sign in with Apple account identifiers only when you choose account-specific sender, family sharing, or recovery features.
- Device or viewer identifiers used to receive shared puzzles and follow family channels.
- Consumable Send Pack transaction identifiers and server-side credit balance from Apple and RevenueCat.
Processors
Apple handles Photos, camera, Sign in with Apple, StoreKit, App Store, TestFlight, and system share surfaces. Cloudflare Workers, D1, and R2 host the PieceKeeper backend, private photo storage, and send-credit ledger. RevenueCat relays verified consumable purchase events from Apple to PieceKeeper.
No Ads, Tracking, Or External AI
PieceKeeper does not use advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, OpenRouter, OpenAI, or other external AI processors in the current app version.
Retention And Deletion
Local puzzles remain on the device until deleted in the app or the app is removed. Signed-in users can delete their PieceKeeper account and cloud data in Settings > Profile > Delete Account & Cloud Data. That deletes the PieceKeeper account, server-side family and share records, hosted puzzle metadata, private hosted photos, follow relationships, send-credit transactions, and any unused server balance. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase, billing, fraud-prevention, refund, and legal records under their own policies.
